Take Action Tuesday

Today marks the 55th annual celebration of Earth Day! As Christians, we are called to be good stewards of God’s creation, and Earth Day is a reminder to honor and protect the environment He entrusted to us. By caring for the earth, we demonstrate our gratitude and fulfill our role in God’s plan to nurture and preserve His world for future generations.

Ways to make today meaningful:

* Check your city’s events page for local Earth Day activities.

* Add pollinator-friendly plants to your landscaping to attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees.

* Take a family stroll around the neighborhood, picking up any trash you find.

* Visit a new park or green space; soak up the benefits of spending time outdoors.

* Brainstorm ways to reduce waste in your home; pick one and put it into action.

* Pray for the conservation of our planet and wisdom for all environmental leaders.

“But ask the beasts, and they will teach you; the birds of the heavens, and they will tell you; or the bushes of the earth, and they will teach you; and the fish of the sea will declare to you. Who among all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? In his hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind.” Job 12:7-10
