Take Action Tuesday

Challenge of the week:

Stretch yourself to love like Jesus does: with agape love.

Billy Graham once said: “Agape love is selfless love . . . the love God wants us to have isn’t just an emotion but a conscious act of the will—a deliberate decision on our part to put others ahead of ourselves. This is the kind of love God has for us.” And as children of God, that’s the kind of love we are called to extend to others.

Look for opportunities to love sacrificially this week:

*It might be your spouse – could you lay down resentment and choose appreciation?

*It might be your kids – could you lay down devices and choose quality time?

*It might be an extended family member – could you lay down past hurts and choose forgiveness?

*It might be a friend – could you lay down comfort and choose connection?

*It might be a stranger – could you lay down timidity and choose boldly sharing Jesus?

“By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers” (1 John 3:16).

We are committed to praying for each and every one of you this week as you stretch yourselves to be used as vessels for God’s love and glory!
